Haggling at Memory express?
I want to custom build my computer and I am going to memory express to buy all my parts. The total would be around $1500, which I am paying in cash, and I was wondering if it was possible for me to haggle and how?
If someone has had experience with computer haggling, I would appreciate if they could give me some tips.
Number one if you want to same $ like anywhere else in life, do your homework. Get a list of the lowest prices (tax, shipping, rebates etc… included) for all your parts. Ask if you could get your full system for that price from them instead of buying individually. Sadly being female your chances of getting a deal at a computer store is significantly less. Don’t be surprised if you get turned down at first ask to speak to someone capable of making price changes if this happens, as not all reps are capable of doing more than taking orders and your info. If this does not work ask for 10% off the top instead for buying all your components from them. <This most shops will normally do this.
The most important thing about the haggling process is assuring the seller the deal will be quick and effortless on their part. Assure them that they are your number one choice for further business as well. Finally good luck, prices have really hit a rock bottom in the computing biz in that most dealer will not take the time to haggle much now days as customer service has hit the floor and grows more and more no exsistant so has haggling.

Do you think making memories is more important than making money?
Depends on the memories,family memories are more important than money to me ,We all (men anyway) get so caught up in careers and making money we tend not to make lasting memories with our family’s.
I was caught up in the rat race till I lost a son and then realized how few memories we shared together ,yeah we did things together but s much i missed.
